WRC rally Croatia 2024 - day two
19. April 2024, Platak, Rijeka
The day finally came, the Croatian rally was a go! We excitedly sat down in our car and went to the SS 4+5 - Platak.
Upon arrival we emmidiately realised our mistake. I, in all the excitment, miscalculated our arrival time and now the road was closed. No biggie, we just took a walk until we found a nice spot.
It was a warm and sunny day, although some snow was reported on previos stages, but here it was perfect racing weather.
We waited a bit until this butterfly buterrfly gave the sign and the first cars started coming.
Unfortunately this day was cut a bit short as our car had a check engine light on, and as we were planning to go tomorrow we didn't want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere.
So we decided to play it safe and go to the mechanic. It turned out it was nothing serious, more of an false alert than a fault, but better to be safe than sorry.
